Structure of the home and the organization

1. THE STRUCTURE OF THE HOUSES

Family modules. The youngest children live in the family modules. In each module, in a house, live four girls and six boys between the ages of four to twelve. So that the houses would have an atmosphere of a real home, we prefer to use married couples as parents in the houses. The parents are trained to teach the children the very principles of life, and this way they can affect child's both the present and the future life. In the family modules the children learn also about the relationships between sisters and brothers. Each house is made to be very pleasant and practical. Every house has a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, three bedrooms (two for the boys and two for the girls), an office, a toilet and a shower bath, and a private bedroom for the parents.

Modules for the adolescents. The adolescence is a period in the life that has its own special characters. An adolescent needs to be paid more attention with and also needs more orientation. To avoid problems in the family modules in the future, the boys and the girls are staying in separate modules. Each of these modules is supervised by a person who we call an uncle or an aunt. In the boys' house the supervisor is a man, and in the girls' house the supervisor is a woman. The person doesn't intent to be one of the parents, but she or he is more like a friend or a relative. Once in a month the adolescents visit the house where they lived before and so they keep up the relationship with their parents. This is the best moment for the parents to advice their children, and for the children to share their worries and problems, and ask questions.

Module for the residents. The purpose of this module is to be the final step before to become totally independent of the home. The grown-ups (often university students) who still aren't ready to leave the home live alone or with others in a house. They have a supervisor whose role is to orient them. The residents work 50 % of their time, and that way they have a possibility to begin to buy their own things, such as beds and other pieces of furniture.

2. ORGANIZATION OF THE ADMINISTRATION The administration is constituted by the director of the home, the sub-director, the administrator and the coordinator. Each person and the corresponding work area have its own important functions, but the key person for the best function of the institution is the director. The director is responsible to give a good model of life for the working team and the dwellers of the home. She should also be able to inspire the team for a better work, and train the other team members to be able to take her place one day in the future. Besides, she needs to be aware of every current event around the situation in the land, the education and so on.

Financing. The home is sustained by contributions and donations of various private people and friends of the home.
